waronsuck2178: My sentiments exactly. It is an era you can get lost in. My uncle had a dance band in the 1930's and my father also played in it... Unfortunately, they are all gone and I was born in the 1950's, way past time to enjoy it in person. Yet these youtube recordings (and other internet resources) keep that age alive.

This type of music is my love! The lyrics are always fun, and I love listening to their voices to the old, scratchy music in the background! Forget about KE$HA, it's all Annette!

I love this old music. Much better than the generic, processed, electronic stuff they're churning out these days.

I keep on thinking about how intresting this sounds. All of the early 1900's music and the architecture of life back then is brilliant. You can get lost in it, a completley diffrent time period. There has alway been something about it. I remember when I was little going on the tower of terror and seeing how intresting it was and how brilliant it felt to be there and hear the old music. It worked very well together. A film like Shutter Island with this kind of music would be brilliant.
